Movie Review: Straight Outta Compton (2015)

Straight outta Compton, crazy motherfucker named Ice Cube
From the gang called
I’m not black enough to say this word With Attitudes.

Ladies and gentlemen… “Straight Outta Compton”.

Disclaimer: I know this thing is based on a true story, but I will not base my review on how perfectly accurate to the real situation it may or may not be, but I will instead judge it as a movie… which it is. Disclaimer over.

So this is a movie about gangsta rap group N.W.A that emerged in the late 80’s. The group consisted of Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson Jr), Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins), Eazy-E (Jaosn Mitchell), DJ Yella (Neil Brown Jr) and MC Ren (Aldis Hodge). And this movie is basically how they started out easily in Compton, California and then after having met producer Jerry Heller (Paul Giamatti) how they rose to superstardom. And then it follows what happened when some complications rose among the group. And I have to say that I found the development of the story extremely interesting. The basics of it is a “rags-to-riches” story, but it adds a lot of good drama and even a bit of tension to it all to make it surprisingly unique in it’s execution. I was heavily invested the entire time and I never felt like it dragged at any point which feels weird since the movie is two and a half hours long.

The people you see in this movie are all a bunch of interesting individuals. What I didn’t mention earlier is that while the movie is about NWA, it more or less follows Ice Cube, Eazy-E and Dr. Dre more than the other two. And I guess that might come from the fact that Cube and Dre are producers on this film together with Eazy-E’s widow. Anywho… the acting in this movie was good. You know what’s kind of weird in that sense? Ice Cube is played by Ice Cube’s son. Doing a movie like that would feel like a dumb idea A.K.A. tooting your own horn, but here it really worked. O’Shea Jackson Jr. was great as his dad… that just feels so weird to say. Every other actor was great as well in their roles. I don’t wanna say that every individual because then we’d be here all fuckin’ week… yeah.

I think it goes without saying that if you absolutely hate hip hop/rap, you will not be too happy with the soundtrack for this movie. But would once expect a different kind of soundtrack for a movie like this? Not really. However I have to say that I was a little surprised to find out that there was an original score in this movie as well. And I also have to say that it was really good. It was tense, dramatic and just great. Good job with the score, Joseph Trapanese!

This movie was directed by F. Gary Gray and I am impressed, this is a very well directed movie with lots of great shots and little touches to it. And I think that really helps with the pacing of the movie that I mentioned earlier. Ya know, the part where I mentioned that this movie moves at a pretty quick pace for it’s long(ish) runtime. I also wanna mention that if you hate cursing, nudity, violence, drug use and other not too decent things then maybe you wanna keep away from this movie.

This movie has been very well received. On Rotten Tomatoes it has an 88% positive rating and a “Fresh” certification. On Metacritic it has a score of 72/100. And on imdb.com it has a score of 8,0/10. The movie was also nominated for 1 Oscar (Fuckin’ really?) in the category of Best Original Screenplay.

“Straight Outta Compton” is an interesting movie about the lifetime of a legendary hip hop group. It has a great story, great acting, a great soundtrack and great directing. Time for my final score. Yo. My final score for “Straight Outta Compton” is a 9,87/10. IT most definitely gets the “SEAL OF APPROVAL!”.
Seal of Approval

My review of “Straight Outta Compton” is now completed.

Damn, that shit was dope!

My Top 10 Favorite Rock/Metal Albums of 2015

music-577061_1920-1024x724

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the first list/countdown of 2016 (not counting the “Most Anticipated” list). And it’s not the list that I think most people would expect from me based on what I usually cover on this here blog (movies). but I do listen to a lot of music and as some of you might know, most of it is rock. And from that I wanted to do a list of my favorite albums of the year since I didn’t wanna pick my favorite songs since that would just take fuckin’ forever. So instead, list of albums. Time for rules.

Rule #1: As I usually state, this is my list and that means you have no right to bitch and moan about your favorites not being on the list or if an album you hate is on the list. These are my opinions and should be treated as such; opinions, not objective facts.

Rule #2: No re-releases allowed here since those are just older albums with updated audio quality being released.

Rule #3: There is no rule #3…

Before we officially begin, I do officially have an honorable mention to give out. And that honorable mention is for the album “Totally Driven” by Uriah Heep. The reason it didn’t make the main list is because it has technically been released several times before under different titles to no real success at all. And even though it didn’t make the main list, I do still really recommend it because it’s pretty fucking great.

Now that all of that is done, laides and gentlemen, I present to you… My Top 10 Favorite Rock/Metal Albums of 2015.

Number 10: Toto – Toto XIV (Sample: Burn).

So at the bottom of the list we see the release of “Toto XIV” by… Toto. You know, Toto, the guys that made “Africa” and “Hold the Line”. In 2015 they released this album which does carry the regular Tot style but without the late 70’s/mid 80’s style that their classic songs have. And while I don’t think this album will live on with as big of a reputation/admiration of those classics, it’s still a good album.

Number 9: Motörhead – Bad Magic (Sample: Fire Storm Hotel).

This album just shows how badass Motörhead has been throughout the entirety of their career. And with that said, rest in peace Lemmy, you awesome bastard.

Number 8: Def Leppard – Def Leppard (Sample: Dangerous).

Anyone else here who’s surprised that Def Leppard never having released a self-titled album before this? I mean, most bands release a self-titled album pretty early in their careers, but Def Leppard here decided to wait until 2015 to do it. Oh well, at least it’s a good album. It’s very diverse in how it sounds which is something I really liked about it, the songs don’t really sound like each other.

Number 7: Ghost – Meliora (Sample: Cirice).

Now we start getting into what I would like to call the creep-metal. It’s the type of metal that kind of creeps me out. And I think that is kind of what Swedish metal band Ghost intended with this album. I mean, if you look at the band you would agree that they are a creepy bunch. But honestly, I don’t care because it’s a really good album with several great tracks and I think that’s a good justification to listen to it.

Number 6: W.A.S.P – Golgotha (Sample: Hero of The World).

W.A.S.P. is one of those bands I have heard of for several years but never really paid attention ot/listened to. But after listening to their 2015 album “Golgotha”, I believe I might have to keep an eye on them because this album is pretty great. This album has a lot of tracks that sound a surprising amount like a lot of older songs I have listened to. And I don’t really mean in chord progression, but more in style. Not that I’m complaining, on the contrary, I really like it. It’s a style that I just find really great.

Number 5: Browsing Collection – Greeting From Neverland (Sample: Don’t Tell Me).

This is the part where I recommend some kind of relatively obscure band that most of you probably haven’t heard of. This is Browsing Collection, a hard rock/metal band from a small town not too far from where I live. What I find interesting too is the fact that that band consists to 100% of girls. I know that’s not entirely weird, I jsut find it interesting and fun… especially since they make some great fucking music. Seriously, go listen to their albums on Spotify and wherever you can find them because they need a lot more attention than they already have.

Number 4: UFO – A Conspiracy of Stars (Sample – Run Boy Run)

Yet again we have an old rock band with a new album in 2015. And like the other ones, it’s pretty awesome. This is really UFO at their best. If you’ve heard any of their music before you know what their best is and I do think that this album could be added to that mix. Seriously, it’s great.

Number 3: Scorpions – Return to Forever (Sample: We Built This House).

I feel like the expression “old but gold” fits in perfectly to my list because I believe the majority of it consists of old bands doing stuff. But at the same time, who gives a shit as long as the music is good? Scorpions is no exception to this with their latest album, “Return to Forever”, an album made up of songs written throughout their entire carerr but could never release based on the sieze of albums back then. But now we have them as recent recordings and they all got released as a pretty amazing album by the great band who have given us classic like “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Wind of Change” and “Send Me An Angel”, to name a few. What can I say, the old guys still got it.

Number 2: Iron Maiden – The Book of Souls (Sample: Death or Glory).

I’m not gonna lie, I struggled quite a bit when deciding over my Top 2 albums. I went back and forth like “No, that’s number 1, no that’s number 1!”. But it finally came down to this. But you can keep in mind that this is an incredibly close second place. Anyhow, what did we have here? Well it was the latest album from legendary metal band Iron Maiden, one of my aboslute favorites. So when I heard that they were making a new album, I was of course very pumped because… Iron Maiden! And when it finally came out I actually kind of missed it and didn’t listen to it until very shortly before the new year rolled around. And I have to say that I am a little disappointed in my self for not listening to it sooner. But when I finally did, holy hell was it amazing. Really, one of Maiden’s best albums in my opinion, and I don’t think they have ever done anything bad when it comes to their music. But really, this album’s great.

NUMBER 1: Muse – Drones (Sample: Psycho).

Yup, I put Muse over Iron Maiden… that’s how I roll. But like I said, I struggled a lot with the Top 2 so who cares. I have to say that this might one of Muse’s best albums. The music is cool/well made and I kind of do like the lyrics even though a lot of people hate them. That’s right… I am the minority. Great album, go listen to it. But if you don’t like it then fine… be like that.

So this has been my list of my top 10 favorite Rock/Metal albums of 2015. What have been some that I haven’t mentioned that you liked? Feel free to mention any and all of those in the comments. Yeah… I’m done.
Have a good one!

What’s to come in 2016

Snapshot_20151231

How are you all doing on this day? If you’re not doing well then do something to feel/do better. Anyhow, I just wanted to come here and talk about what you might expect from me in the year that is dawning upon us. But before we get into that I just wanted to thank you all for an awesome year and hope 2016 will be just as good if not even better.

So first off I wanna mention that I will bring you a review of the first season of “Fargo” very soon. And while I haven’t seen the original Coen brothers movie I still feel confident in my decision to watch/review the show. It will also be pretty easy for me to review the seasons individually because of the show being an anthology series. You know, when every season focuses on different stories/characters within similar themes.

Relatively soon I will give you my list of my most anticipated movies of 2016 which is kind of difficult to make into a decently sized list. And by decently sized I mean not too long, not too short. I am struggling a lot with the list but I think it’ll all turn out well… hopefully.

In April you can expect me to give you a review of the second season of “Daredevil” which will be dropping then. Back in April of this year (yes, still 2015 for at least a few more hours here) I did in fact review season 1 which I absolutely fucking loved. And I am looking forward to seeing what they bring in season 2 when they introduce Elektra (Elodie Young) and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal).

Over the coming spring I will bring you reviews of all the “Bourne” movies leading up to the release of the fifth (and untitled) one in July. I can say this, I am a big fan of the series already but feel that it’s necessary to rewatch them all and see how they hold up. Yes, even the Jeremy Renner one, that one won’t get away from me. So that is something I am looking forward to.

Sometime in January will be this blog’s 2nd anniversary, so I will try to cook something fun up for that. Maybe you could leave some suggestions in the comments.

At some point during the year of 2016 I will attempt to start a podcast where I will talk about movies, music, games, TV, books and other things with friends and other people. I don’t know when I will be able to get that shit up and running, but at some point it will come. By the way, if you know any good (free/legal) computer programs to record skype calls with, that’d be great if you could mention it.

And that’s it really. Well, at least that I know for sure will happen on this blog in 2016. For everything else I will pretty much wing it. Got any suggestions for fun things I could do? Leave comment or something, I don’t know. Maybe tweet it @TheMarckoguy. You should follow me there in general if you didn’t do it already because there are important updates/teases there all the time. There is also stupid bullshit, but we all enjoy that kind of stuff. And now I will leave you here with Mr. Healey and his gang.

2015 in review

“The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.” – WordPress, 2015 (I think)

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,700 times in 2015. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

Click here to see the complete report.

Looking back at this year I seem to have gained a bigger following than I had during my first year on wordpress. I have gotten a lot of views from various people around the world whether they were following me or not. And just like in 2014 I seem to have made some friends thanks to this damn thing. So yeah… 2015 was a good year for me here and I hope that I will have just as good of a time in 2016 which I think will be a great year for a silly snake like me.

Have a good one!

Movies left in 2015 I am looking forward to

Movies

How are you doing, guys? Personally I am doing great with summer vacation going on. Anyway, I am here to just tell you what movies left in 2015 I am excited about. And to be completely clear, these are in no particular order, these are just movies in general I am looking forward to. So let’s stop standing around like a bunch of jackasses in a circle and get this going!

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
Star+Wars+The+Force+Awakens+3

Let’s get the obvious shit out of the way first with what I would assume will be the highest grossing movie of this year, “Star Wars episode VII: The Force Awakens”. Just like everyone else I am looking forward a lot to “Star Wars” because it is motherfucking “Star Wars”! Some people are skeptical because of J.J. Abrams directing, I however am excited to see what he brings to the table considering his “Star Trek” reboot was fucking awesome (in my opinion). So yeah… “Star Wars”.

Ant-Man.
ant_man_mask_and_costume_wallpaper_118_images_backgrounds

Again, getting the obvious stuff out of the way first. That’s right, I am really looking forward to seeing Marvel’s next movie “Ant-Man”. If you remember a long time ago, I did put it on my “Most Anticipated Movies of 2015” list. It was fairly high on that list. And even though Marvel can do no wrong these days I might be wrong about it. I mean, I was wrong about “Blackhat” which turned out to not be that great… but this is Marvel, not modern Michael Mann, so I think it will go well.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
mission-impossible-rogue-nation-hd-wallpaper

You guys all know that I love Tom Cruise, he’s a great actor and I have a lot of respect for him as well for doing all of his own stunts. And this time he has out-triumphed himself with his foolishness by climbing on a plane taking off. First the Burj Khalifa, now a plane. What’s next, riding on the outside of a real life rocket? Tom, if you’re reading this… DON’T, NO!

Spectre.
spectre_daniel_craig_james_bond_2015_101313_1366x768

IT is a new “James Bond” movie directed by Sam Mendes who did “Skyfall” (which I have not seen yet, I know, shame on me). But I did see Mendes’ movie “Road to Perdition” and that movie was awesome and I did see “Casino Royale” so I know Daniel Craig will be great as Bond. This will probably be a great movie as well.

The Martian.
martian1

It is a sci-fi movie starring Matt Damon (who is awesome) and is directed by Ridley Scott (who is awesome). What is not to be excited for!? Okay fine, Ridley Scott has had some missteps these past few years, but remember that this is the same guy that gave us “American Gangster”, “Alien”, “Gladiator” and “Blade Runner: The Final Cut”. Trust me, I got hope in this project. Also, come on guys, “Prometheus” wasn’t THAT BAD!

Bridge of Spies.

Next up is a spy-drama with the always successful combination of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. Now they are taking on the cold war and spies. This is what dreams are made of, all of these awesome details. This will probably be great based on the earlier collaborations of these two.

Southpaw.
Southpaw-Trailer-1280x853

This movie has such a combination of factors that it is almost unbelievable. I will try to round them up as decently as I can because this movie over the past few months has earned my interest more and more to the point of it becoming one of my most anticipated of the year.
1: The plot is about a boxer’s life going from hit to shit… that sounds great.
2: It is directed by Antoine Fuqua who made “Training Day” and “Shooter”, both of which I haven’t seen in a long time. But I remember liking them, so that’s something!
3: It stars Jake Gyllenhaal, one of my favorite actors who has proven himself these past 10 years that he is one of the greatest actors living today.
4: It is written by Kurt Sutter, the creator of “Sons of Anarchy”, one of my favorite TV-shows of all time. And I remember that show having some great writing, so that is good.
5: The soundtrack was done by Eminem. If you don’t like his music, that’s fine but don’t scold me for liking it! I like his music and I do think it might fit in this movie. And that is the final nail in this coffin.

Sicario.
SICARIO-2015

This might be the movie I am looking forward to the most out of all ones left this year. I know, more than “Star Wars” which I am still looking forward to more than you’d believe. But there is a strange allure to this movie that just makes it more interesting to me than “Star Wars”. I guess it might be because of the excellent cast including Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro. It might also be because of this movie being directed by Denis Villeneuve who made “Prisoners” which most likely will stay my favorite movie of 2013 because of how amazing that is.

So those are the movies I am most excited to see in the second half of 2015. What are some of yours? Comment below and let me know!

Have a good one!

Movie Review: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Ultron-Prime-in-avengers-age-of-ultron-2015-wallpapers-hd-1366X768-Desktop-02

As the Marvel cinematic universe moves on, they have to figure out what the hell they should do next. Of course they can always look back on the comics/graphic novels for inspiration, but they need to know which ones to go by. And with that said, IN YOUR FACE, AMERICA! Sorry, I wanted to be a jerk about the fact that we got the movie before you.

Ladies and gents… “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.

So in this movie we see how Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) tries to start up a new peacekeeping program to help keep the world safe. But that seems to go to shit as the program takes a robotic body and turns on it’s creator. So now it is up to Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) to go out and stop the villainous robot Ultron (James Spader). And with that we get a deep story filled with action, drama, emotion and a lot of narrative strengths. This is a movie with a constantly moving story that never feels dull or boring at any point. I loved it!

At this point we are all familiar with the main players of the movie and we know they are amazingly awesome, so in this part of the “characters/acting” segment we will focus more on the newcomers. First up, James Spader as Ultron… holy shit! If the phrase “perfect casting” could ever be put on something it could be put right here. Spader is fantastic as this 8ft tall robot. Not only does he deliver his lines perfectly, but his voice is just fantastic for Ultron. It is deep, smooth and villainous. I also felt like there was a bit of a Raymond Reddington vibe going on (Sidenote: For those of you who don’t know, Reddington is Spader’s character in the TV-show “The Blacklist”). And it was just great. Next up is Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver. I had my doubts, not because of Johnson, I now he is a really good actor, I just doubted if this Quicksilver could be awesome. And he was awesome, frankly great. He had funny lines and a cool personality which I felt like Johnson captured perfectly. Finally we have Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Sidenote: Johnson and Olsen played husband and wife in 2014’s “Godzilla” and here they play siblings… weird). And she was great, playing her with a lot of confidence and power. She was great. Overall I think all actors were great and the writing for them was also great.

The score for the movie was done by Brian Tyler and by this point we know he is great. He has done the music for most modern Marvel movies (4 M’s in a row, damn). The score is just as large, epic and amazing as it has been for the past however many years Brian Tyler has been along for the ride. And for those of you who wonder, the song “I’ve got no strings” is actually in this movie.

This movie was really well-directed. The shots looked great and nothing lingered for too long. And the action scenes in this movie were amazing, some of the best any superhero movie has ever seen. They were fast, flowing, energetic and badass. And the visual effects were spectacular! Everything looked great, especially Ultron, he looked so real! And the writing in the movie was also really great. Not only were there a lot of funny lines like you would expect but there were some genuinely deep and dramatic lines in there that really worked for the movie. And there was also one moment in the movie that I have to admit (Don’t worry, no spoilers on my blog) that made me almost tear up, well done Marvel.

As this movie hasn’t been out that long in the world (not at all in the U.S.) there aren’t that many things to go by. But so far I can mention that Rotten Tomatoes it has an 80% positive rating. On Metacritic it has a score of 72/100. And on imdb.com it has a score of 8,6/10. Reminder: All scores that I present here are always what I find at the time of the review, scores on sites may alter afterwards.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is another badass addition to the MCU with a great plot, great characters/acting, a great score, amazing action and visual effects. Time for my final score. *Ahem* My final score for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is a 9,87/10. This is a great movie that of course gets the “SEAL OF APPROVAL!”.
Seal of Approval

Review of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is now completed.

If you wonder about my thoughts on the first “Avengers”, I liked it. But I think this is the superior movie.

My Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2015

10645056_555976534504362_3804556666866198015_n

Hello there my friends! You see this here post? No? Oh, you’re blind? Well I’m sorry, but how could I possibly have known that? Okay, okay… jeez. Hehe, sorry guys, got a little distracted. But today we are looking at yet another countdown from me. And what is it this time exactly? Well, didn’t you read the title? Okay sorry, not going there again! But we are looking at what movies from the upcoming year I am at least curious about. So now we are diving into it… Markus’ Top 10 most anticipated movies of 2015!

Chappie_THUMB-1415140242076

Number 10: Chappie.

The new movie by director Neill Blomkamp (“District 9”, “Elysium”) is apparently about a robot who gets adopted by a family (as far as I get it). Like every other Neill Blomkamp movie it stars Sharlto Copley as the titular character (Fine, in “Elysium” he wasn’t the main dude, but you get it!). This is a relative newcomer to my mind and definitely seems very interesting. I think Neill Blomkamp is a great director and this might be a really good movie. I am curious to see where this movie goes.

tumblr_nayjrrgeft1ts6gi0o7_1280-mad-max-now-has-its-very-own-awesome-museum-minus-an-angry-mel-gibson

Number 9: Mad Max: Fury Road.

I am going to be completely honest, I have never seen a “Mad Max” movie before. I don’t want to miss out on them, but I have never gotten the chance to see them though. But this movie seem like it might be pretty cool. There are two factors in this movie that make it seem like it could work out; 1. It stars Tom Hardy who happens to be a great actor. 2. It is directed by the guy who did all the originals, so at least that might give the fanboys some comfort. Boom!

jungle-book-movie-ron-howard

Number 8: The Jungle Book.

I am a huge fan of the original 1967 “Jungle Book” movie by Disney. I first saw it when I was a young lad and it has never lost steam. I love that movie so much, so the news of not one but TWO remakes should worry me. But it doesn’t. I feel like both versions are in pretty good hands. Given one of them actually comes out in 2016 and the other one next year. And the one next year is directed by Jon Favreau (“Iron Man”, “Iron Man 2”, “Chef”) who I think is a pretty good director. But if I can be completely honest I am looking forward to the other one a bit more because it is directed by Andy Serkis… ya know, Gollum, Caesar, the guy knows performance capture! But anyway, this one in 2015 might be a good movie, we’ll see.

1414959212140_wps_48_Picture_Shows_Tom_Cruise_

Number 7: Mission Impossible 5.

Tom Crusie the crazy bastard! Just look at the picture! Oh shit, I should talk about my thought on the movie and not Tom Cruise and his crazy stunts! Uhm… I liked “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” and this might be an entertaining movie. It is apparently directed by Christopher McQuarrie who directed the really good action-thriller “Jack Reacher” and also did the writing for “The Usual Suspects”. So the new “M.I.” movie might be pretty good I guess. Tom Cruise you crazy son of a bitch, what the hell are you doing!?

4062251

Number 6: Mortdecai.

Johnny Deep playing a weirdo again? Yes, but now it is a different type of weirdo than Captain Jack Sparrow. Apparently he is chasing nazi gold in this movie… that’s interesting. It looks like it can a fun action-comedy. It is nice to see Johnny Depp in something other than weird weirdo in a movie for once.

homem-formiga

Number 5: Ant-Man.

One of the most under-appreciated superheroes. He can shrink to the size of an Ant and can make himself as big as a fucking building… why is he so unpopular? The guy is rocking some great powers! And this movie with Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas seem like it could be pretty cool… I hope. Everything can go to shit but can at the same time go to some awesome stuff. I don’t know, let’s just see what happens.

avengers_9

Number 4: Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The only reason this movie is one this list is because of that fucking awesome trailer, okay? I didn’t think the first “Avengers” was a masterpiece like everyone else, but I did enjoy it a little bit. Then the trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” got released and holy crap was it awesome! It was dark, haunting and I just loved James Spader’s voice, I think it fits perfectly! So yeah, this might be one of the coolest and hopefully best movie of 2015… who knows?

blackhat

Number 3: Blackhat.

It is a movie about hacking which is a fascinating subject… and it is directed by Michael Mann who made “Heat” and “Collateral”, two of my favorite movies of all time. It also stars Chris Hemsworth who has proven himself as an actor quite a bit these days. It seems like the “Thunder from Down Under” has attracted the attention of some high-end directors lately. Anyway, this movie seems like it will be really good and I am very optimistic about it.

star-wars-episode-vii

Number 2: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

I love “Star Wars. There is no reason to deny it, and the lot of you agree with me, I know it! It will feature the original cast and is directed by none other than J.J. Abrams who did the “Star Trek” remake and “Star Trek Into Darkness”, two movies I thought were very good. At first I was a skeptic but now you could say I have… “A New Hope”… eh, eh? Okay, I’ll stop. But this will probably still be good.

22843

Number 1: Jurassic World.

I am not going to lie, this movie (based on the newly released trailer” looks pretty fucking awesome. Not only do the effects look great, but it seems like it has some genuine thrills… and it has CHRIS PRATT AND THE RAPTOR SQUAD! If you don’t know what I am talking about then just go check out the trailer for it… because it is amazing. “Jurassic World” is my most anticipated movie of 2015 and I hope it will be great.

Those were my Ten most Anticipated Movies of 2015. What are some of yours? Please leave a comment, I would love to hear your thoughts!

See ya!
