My Top 10 Favorite Rock/Metal Albums of 2015

music-577061_1920-1024x724

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the first list/countdown of 2016 (not counting the “Most Anticipated” list). And it’s not the list that I think most people would expect from me based on what I usually cover on this here blog (movies). but I do listen to a lot of music and as some of you might know, most of it is rock. And from that I wanted to do a list of my favorite albums of the year since I didn’t wanna pick my favorite songs since that would just take fuckin’ forever. So instead, list of albums. Time for rules.

Rule #1: As I usually state, this is my list and that means you have no right to bitch and moan about your favorites not being on the list or if an album you hate is on the list. These are my opinions and should be treated as such; opinions, not objective facts.

Rule #2: No re-releases allowed here since those are just older albums with updated audio quality being released.

Rule #3: There is no rule #3…

Before we officially begin, I do officially have an honorable mention to give out. And that honorable mention is for the album “Totally Driven” by Uriah Heep. The reason it didn’t make the main list is because it has technically been released several times before under different titles to no real success at all. And even though it didn’t make the main list, I do still really recommend it because it’s pretty fucking great.

Now that all of that is done, laides and gentlemen, I present to you… My Top 10 Favorite Rock/Metal Albums of 2015.

Number 10: Toto – Toto XIV (Sample: Burn).

So at the bottom of the list we see the release of “Toto XIV” by… Toto. You know, Toto, the guys that made “Africa” and “Hold the Line”. In 2015 they released this album which does carry the regular Tot style but without the late 70’s/mid 80’s style that their classic songs have. And while I don’t think this album will live on with as big of a reputation/admiration of those classics, it’s still a good album.

Number 9: Motörhead – Bad Magic (Sample: Fire Storm Hotel).

This album just shows how badass Motörhead has been throughout the entirety of their career. And with that said, rest in peace Lemmy, you awesome bastard.

Number 8: Def Leppard – Def Leppard (Sample: Dangerous).

Anyone else here who’s surprised that Def Leppard never having released a self-titled album before this? I mean, most bands release a self-titled album pretty early in their careers, but Def Leppard here decided to wait until 2015 to do it. Oh well, at least it’s a good album. It’s very diverse in how it sounds which is something I really liked about it, the songs don’t really sound like each other.

Number 7: Ghost – Meliora (Sample: Cirice).

Now we start getting into what I would like to call the creep-metal. It’s the type of metal that kind of creeps me out. And I think that is kind of what Swedish metal band Ghost intended with this album. I mean, if you look at the band you would agree that they are a creepy bunch. But honestly, I don’t care because it’s a really good album with several great tracks and I think that’s a good justification to listen to it.

Number 6: W.A.S.P – Golgotha (Sample: Hero of The World).

W.A.S.P. is one of those bands I have heard of for several years but never really paid attention ot/listened to. But after listening to their 2015 album “Golgotha”, I believe I might have to keep an eye on them because this album is pretty great. This album has a lot of tracks that sound a surprising amount like a lot of older songs I have listened to. And I don’t really mean in chord progression, but more in style. Not that I’m complaining, on the contrary, I really like it. It’s a style that I just find really great.

Number 5: Browsing Collection – Greeting From Neverland (Sample: Don’t Tell Me).

This is the part where I recommend some kind of relatively obscure band that most of you probably haven’t heard of. This is Browsing Collection, a hard rock/metal band from a small town not too far from where I live. What I find interesting too is the fact that that band consists to 100% of girls. I know that’s not entirely weird, I jsut find it interesting and fun… especially since they make some great fucking music. Seriously, go listen to their albums on Spotify and wherever you can find them because they need a lot more attention than they already have.

Number 4: UFO – A Conspiracy of Stars (Sample – Run Boy Run)

Yet again we have an old rock band with a new album in 2015. And like the other ones, it’s pretty awesome. This is really UFO at their best. If you’ve heard any of their music before you know what their best is and I do think that this album could be added to that mix. Seriously, it’s great.

Number 3: Scorpions – Return to Forever (Sample: We Built This House).

I feel like the expression “old but gold” fits in perfectly to my list because I believe the majority of it consists of old bands doing stuff. But at the same time, who gives a shit as long as the music is good? Scorpions is no exception to this with their latest album, “Return to Forever”, an album made up of songs written throughout their entire carerr but could never release based on the sieze of albums back then. But now we have them as recent recordings and they all got released as a pretty amazing album by the great band who have given us classic like “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Wind of Change” and “Send Me An Angel”, to name a few. What can I say, the old guys still got it.

Number 2: Iron Maiden – The Book of Souls (Sample: Death or Glory).

I’m not gonna lie, I struggled quite a bit when deciding over my Top 2 albums. I went back and forth like “No, that’s number 1, no that’s number 1!”. But it finally came down to this. But you can keep in mind that this is an incredibly close second place. Anyhow, what did we have here? Well it was the latest album from legendary metal band Iron Maiden, one of my aboslute favorites. So when I heard that they were making a new album, I was of course very pumped because… Iron Maiden! And when it finally came out I actually kind of missed it and didn’t listen to it until very shortly before the new year rolled around. And I have to say that I am a little disappointed in my self for not listening to it sooner. But when I finally did, holy hell was it amazing. Really, one of Maiden’s best albums in my opinion, and I don’t think they have ever done anything bad when it comes to their music. But really, this album’s great.

NUMBER 1: Muse – Drones (Sample: Psycho).

Yup, I put Muse over Iron Maiden… that’s how I roll. But like I said, I struggled a lot with the Top 2 so who cares. I have to say that this might one of Muse’s best albums. The music is cool/well made and I kind of do like the lyrics even though a lot of people hate them. That’s right… I am the minority. Great album, go listen to it. But if you don’t like it then fine… be like that.

So this has been my list of my top 10 favorite Rock/Metal albums of 2015. What have been some that I haven’t mentioned that you liked? Feel free to mention any and all of those in the comments. Yeah… I’m done.
Have a good one!

Soon it will (finally) arrive…

Hello, peoples of le interwebz. I don’t know what the fuck that was, but it happened. Anyway, I just wanted to say that it won’t be long now (hopefully) until I will finally make my list of my favorite movies of 2014. There are maybe only like three movies left I have to see before I can be sure of what my list will be like.
You see, I didn’t want to make my list at the end of the year like everyone else simply to have it out at the same time as everyone else. I wanted to wait until I’d seen all the movies from 2014 I wanted to see. So that is why my lsit is so late compared to others. But soon, it’ll be here and it will be a good time.

Have a good one.

Top Ten Help

top-10_1

Hello people of the internet! Today I am here, not to necessarily give you a review or a countdown. Okay, I am kind of doing the last one but I have a problem; I can’t figure what kind to do. That is why I am here, I want you to give me suggestions on what I can do for a Top 10 or Top however much is necessary. I am seriously out of good ideas for it, so please help me figure this shit out. Any suggestion is good, whether it’d be about movies, tv, music, books, life… anything. Just give me something good, please! I am leaving this task in your hands, so please do it well.

Have a good one.

My Top 10 Batman Movies

because_i_m_batman____by_superherocomputerart-d5kbtdg

Remember the other week where I had a poll on what my (at that time) next Top 10 would be? Well if you remember that then surely you remember how I said there was a tie between the winner of that one and another one so I had to toss a coin. Well after the other one won the coin toss it gave me the brilliant idea that I the Top 10 I would make after that one would be the one that tied. So here we are, presenting the new Top 10.

Ladies and gentlemen… My Top 10 Batman Movies.

Rule #1: Same as always, this is my list, so no butthurt bitching allowed.

Rule #2: Any Batman movies is elligible to be on this list… as long as I enjoyed it. And I will include several movies from the same incarnations of the character because I don’t feel like looking up 10 completely different ones to use. I may be good at research, but I am also lazy.

Rule #3: I’M BATMAN!

I will however start with an honorable mention and that will be “Batman: The Movie” starring Adam West. The reason it even is an honorable mention is because it is so hilariously bad that I couldn’t ignore it. Also, shark repellent spray… gotta love that shit.

Number 10: Batman: Gotham Knight (2008).
h9xrTEaXvogkiUaGm9C1f5I69E0

“Batman: Gotham Knight” is an animated movies absed around six different short films by different anime studious to sort of bridge the gap between “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”. Sound pretty cool right? Well it kind of is but at the same time it isn’t THAT terrific because of all these short films feeling very loosely connected and with them not feeling 100% Batman-ish if that even means anything. But it is still cool to see Batman in all these different art styles that all look great in their own ways.

Number 9: Batman Returns (1992).
batman_returns_wallpaper-1024x768

Here we have the sequel to 1989’s “Batman”, once again directed by Tim Burton. Michael Keaton is back as Batman and this time he is not fighting The Joker but instead we get Catwoman and The Penguin. Defnitely darker than the first movie, it is still a good movie. Also, Christopher Walken is in this, so that’s pretty cool

Number 8: Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014).
Assault on Arkham

So this is a Batman movie, well technically not, but still. Even though this has Batman in the title and he is in the movie, we for the most part follow The Suicide Squad (Deadshot, Killer Frost, Harley Quinn, Black Spider, King Shark and *sigh* Captain Boomerang). It is a movie with good animation, really cool action and it follows the video game “Batman: Arkham Origins”… sort of.

Number 7: The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
1366_768_20120608012543630174

Oh boy, controversial placement. Look, I love this movie, i think it is fucking great. But there are otehr Batman movies I like more. So deal with it! But this is still a terrific entry in not only the Christopher Nolan Batman series, but even in the Batman movie-verse(s) in general.

Number 6: Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000).
batman-batman-superheroes-joker-wallpaper-return-beyond-image-wallpapers-cartoon-wallpaper-42511

“Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker” is a tie-in to the animated series “Batman Beyond” which I also really like. In this movie we follow Terry McGinnis who in this timeline is Batman as he finds out that the original Joker has returned and holy shit this movie is both weird and awesome. Dark, twisted and badass, it is definitely worth the watch, especially if you like the show.

Number 5: The Dark Knight (2008).
the-dark-knight-wallpaper-5

Oh dear lord, not putting everybody’s favorite Batman movie at number 1, that is highly controversial. Well I don’t care, this is my list and I can do whatever I want! Besides, it is still ranked pretty high on the list. I love this movie, it is terrific. I do however think it might be one of the most overrated movies ever made. Sure, the story is great, the acting is fantastic, the music is fantastic and the direction/camera work is amazing, but it is still probably a little overrated. I mean, when it is ranked #4 on imdb’s “Top 250” list it is definitely overstepping it. I do however still love the movie.

Number 4: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993).
Batman-Mask-of-the-Phantasm-FI

Fun fact: This was in fact the first Batman movie I ever saw. I think I was like 6 and I remember sitting there and watching it, being scared. I guess the visuals were too much for me back then or something. Going back to it a few years later however made me simply think that the movie was fantastic. Terrific animation, fantastic voice acting and music and one of the greatest Batman storylines ever told in anything ever makes this one of the best Batman movies ever.

Number 3: Batman Begins (2005).
the_dark_knight_rises-wallpaper-1366x768

The movie that introduced us to Christian Bale as The Caped Crusader. The movie that introduced us to Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon. The movie that introduced us to Michael Caine as old butler with funny lines (I know he’s Alfred, shut up). And the movie that showed that Christopher Nolan could helm a superhero film. Sure, there were no doubts really before because he hadn’t made anything that disproved it, but still we didn’t know what to expect. And it was fantatic. As you noticed, this is my favorite of Nolan’s Batman movies. I absolutely loved it in every way. I’m a little iffy about Katie Holmes in the movie, but she doesn’t completely ruin it for me.

Number 2: Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010).
batman_under_the_red_hood-wallpaper-1366x768

The 2010 animated Batman movie that I happened to catch on TV one day a few years ago and just blew me away. From it’s story, to it’s developed characters, excellent writing and terrific animation. It also has a lot of great meotion in it. And the voice cast is fantastic too. Bruce Greenwood kills it as Batman which is probably why he got to reprise his role in the animated series “Young Justice”. I love everything about this movie and I hope a lot more people check it out.

NUMBER 1: BATMAN (1989)!
Batman-Logo

If you looked at every entry on this list prior to this spot you probably noticed how this was absent from all other spots and that because it is my favorite Batman movie. I don’t know why I love it more than “Batman Begins” or “Under the Red Hood”. I guess it is because while it still is a dark and serious movie it still has a sense of fun behind it. And the actors in the movie are all great. Everyone had serious doubts about Michael Keaton as Batman but he managed to prove everyone wrong. And Jack Nicholson is fantastic as The Joker. I don’t care much for the music by Prince that we got in the movie, but everything else is just pure perfection for me. And therefore I declare this my favorite Batman movie of all time!

List is done! So what is your favorite Batman movie of all time? Leave a comment!

Top 10 Sexiest Actresses

Wut wut

Ladies, gentlemen and others… it is time. Time for another Top 10, that is. If you had a look around my blog yesterday/the day before I posted a little poll where you could vote for what my next Top 10 would be. To be honest, not many people voted unfortunately which led to there being a tie. The tie was between “Top 10 Batman Movies” and “Top 10 exiest actresses”, the latter of which I suspect my good friend Vinnieh suggested. But seeing as there was a tie at the end of the deadline, I had to figure out how to decide. So I did it the old-fashioned way and flipped a coin and this won. So here we go.

Ladies and gentlemen… My Top 10 Sexiest Actresses.

Rule #1: Same as always; my list, go bitch about someone not sharing your opinion somewhere else.

Rule 2: Which actresses qualify for this? Those who I consider sexy/hot/attractive/beautiful. If you do not agree with what I consider hot/beautiful, read rule #1 and come back when you understand it.

Rule #3: In this list there is no rule #3.

Let’s go!

Number 10: Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gwyneth-Paltrow-Feet-938857

Someone who has been considered one of if not the most attractive woman in the world makes it in to number 10 and for good reason. She is a gorgeous woman. Those blue eyes, the great golden hair and overall gorgeous style puts her here at number 10.

Number 9: Halle Berry.
52aafcb783a79c13cfaa4b604e5ba237

How could I not include this dark skinned beauty? For fuck’s sake, she turns 49 later this year and she still looks fantastic! Okay, this picture looks like it might be a few years old… but still. She is one beautiful lady who also happen to be a terrific actor. Also, if you have seen the Bond movie “Die Another Day” you know how great she looks in a bikini.

Number 8: Jennifer Connelly.
148946-500w

This dark-haired beauty has over the past few years become one of my favorite actors, proving herself with movies like “Requiem for a Dream”, “A Beautiful Mind” and “Blood Diamond”. She also happens to be pretty damn attractive with those pretty eyes and the aforementioned dark hair. She is a beautiful woman.

Number 7: Margot Robbie.
6759cab508966de20cca8cd49ed4c036a3f3fd1426406c7ba21bad3d3f8bb9f4_large

I had never even heard of her before I watched “The Wolf of Wall Street last year” (Where she was terrific by the way) and I haven’t seen her in anything since then. But I can say that I both curious and a little excited to see her play Harley Quinn in next year’s “Suicide Squad”. Until then we can at least appreciate those gorgeous eyes, beautiful hair and overall pretty face.

Number 6: Maggie Gyllenhaal.
687c6e990515da75a50df237e496614d

Here we have the sister of one of my favorite actors (Jake Gyllenhaal). And to give credit where credit is due, she is also a really good actor. Not as good as her brother, but still really good. But the little she lacks in acting skills (compared to her brother) she makes up for in beauty. She captured me with those amazing eyes of hers (Sidenote: As you may have noticed, I am a sucker for eyes) and that really pretty smile.

Number 5: Charlize Theron.
charlize_1-465x390

This South African beauty goes in for one of the top spots. It is easy to see why so many people call her one of the most beautiful people in the world. Just look at her! Not only in this picture, but on pretty much every picture out there. Except from the movie “Monster” because in that she looks terrifying. But if you stay away from those pictures you’ll be fine. Also, did you know she’s married to Sean Penn? I sure as hell didn’t until I made this list.

Number 4: Karen Gillan.
7dccdbcda8f8b0e3b231909db3e0d0c9

A lot of people will go “Who?”. But the majority of the people who know who she is probably know her from her time on “Doctor Who” as Amy Pond. Not only is that red hair beautiful to look at, but her eyes too are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Also, going back to what I first said, you regular people have probably seen her without realizing it. She played the blue alien Nebula in “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Number 3: Scarlett Johansson.
40a8-c1cee2-9998db

Fucking duh.

Number 2: Jennifer Lawrence.
jennifer-lawrence-12a

One of the few celebrities in recent times that (properly) show off that curves are beautiful. She isn’t one those that has to be ultra skinny or have the biggest ass/boobs, she knows that good curves come naturally. Plus, she is overall a truly gorgeous woman. She is also a fantastic actress.

Honorable mentions: Linda Hamilton (circca 1991), Mila Kunis, Carey Mulligan. Anne Hathaway.

NUMBER 1: Keri Russell!
Keri-Russell-keri-russell-158900_1280_1024

Yes, yes, yes! Keri Russell is my choice for number 1. Why? Well… look at her! Beautiful eyes, gorgeous hair (both her old curly hair and her current non-curly hair). There is no actress I think exceeds her in beauty. She is a beautiful woman who I hope to see more of in the future!

I know my descriptions were kind of vague, but I did my best with it. So what are some of your favorite sexy/beautiful/hot actresses? Leave a comment.

Have a good one.

My Top 10 Favorite Movies of all time

Wut wut

The other day I talked about how it was my 1 year anniversary on wordpress and that I wanted to celebrate that with a very special “Top 10 list”. And that is a promise I intended to keep… so here we go. The reason why I chose this topic for my celebratory “Top 10” is because I wanted to give you something special and the fact that these are my favorite movies of all time makes it special to me because like I said, they are my favorites so I can pretty much gush about them all I want (and then some). Now for some ground rules.

#1: Like any other list you can not start bitching about stuff if a movie YOU don’t like is on this list. It’s my personal opinion and that is how it goes. I respect your opinion and I hope you’ll do the same for me.

#2: These movies are not the theoretically best. They don’t always have the best performances, they don’t have the most Oscar wins, these are simply movies that I personally love. They are near and dear to my heart. All of these are on here for different reasons.

Now since all of that is settled… let’s begin counting down… “My Top 10 Favorite Movies of all time”!

Number 10: 25th Hour (2002)
10. 25th Hour

Starting off the list is the Spike Lee directed drama about drug dealer Monty Brogan (Edward Norton) who only has 24 hours left of freedom before he has to go to jail. The plot is simple but is filled with so many layers that it almost kinda baffles me. It’s a deep look into Monty’s life as to how he reacts to the world and his loved ones in his last day of freedom. The performances in this movie are truly great. I think Edward Norton got snubbed for an Oscar nomination in this movie, you’ll know what I am talking about if you have seen hiw little *ahem* “monologue”. This movie is truly great and should be watched by all.

Number 9: Catch Me if You Can (2002)
9. Catch Me if you Can

You start seeing a pattern here? Don’t worry, 2002 is over after this entry on the list. “Catch Me if You Can” is a well-executed, well-acted movie about one of the greatest scams in all of history. Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) has been going around as a plane captain, a doctor and more… before even turning 21! The movie got both really good drama and really good comedy. The acting is really great as well with Christopher Walken stealing the show every time he is in a scene. I can already say that this is my favorite Steven Spielberg movie. Sure, I love “E.T.”, “Jaws” and “Jurassic Park”, but when I think of my favorite Spielberg movie… it’s this.

Number 8: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975)
8. One Flew Over...

Going a bit old school here with this Jack Nicholson classic. “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” is about criminal R.P. McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) who gets sent to a mental institution and starts to kind of rebel against… everything, particularly the head of it all, Nurse Ratched (Lousie Fletcher). This is a movie that got a great story, fantastic acting and some great direction by Milos Forman. This movie is pretty much everything you could want it to be. Critical against society, dramatic, funny, heartfelt and so much more. And that fishing scene… my god, the fishing scene, I love it so much! This is really the movie that sot of solidified Jack Nicholson as an A-list actor. Sure, he had a few Oscar nods under his belt, but this is really what made people go “We need this man in more movies, NOW!”. And I agree with them, this is a fantastic movie with a fantastic performance by Nicholson. And the ending of the movie serisously got me bawling my eyes out, it was so great yet so depressing. This is a fantastic movie.

Number 7: Se7en (1995)
7. Se7en

Yes I do see the irony of this one. And to be honest with you, it came on there by pure accident. I watched it, I loved it and it ended up at number 7. So “Se7en” (Se-Seven-En) is about two detectives (Brad Pitt & Morgan Freeman) investigating a series of murders who all seem to have some kind of relation to one of the seven deadly sins… hence the title “Se7en” (Se-Sev, oh fuck it!). To start it off… this is a disturbing movie. Here is a tip to you if you haven’t seen it yet… don’t eat anything while watching this, it is too disturbing/disgusting. The performances are really good and the score by Howard Shore was great. And yes I will gush over the direction in 3, 2, 7… It is directed by David Fincher… David Fucking Fincher. The guy is a masterclass director and he showed it early on here… “Ali3n” (Ali-Three-En) does not count. This movie is great on so many aspects. And whatever anyone else says, the ending is one of the best there ever was. I have to commend the movie for how much balls it got for doing some of the things it did. “Se7en” is a great crime-thriller that should not be missed (Don’t eat during it!).

Number 6: American History X (1998)
6. American History X

I am not a nazi. I just couldn’t find a better wallpaper. But to the movie itself! If you thought “Se7en” was ballsy, then you have not seen anything yet. “American History X” is about neo nazi Derek (Edward Norton) who gets out of prison and then tries to get his little brother (Edward Furlong) out of it. This movie is one of the most powerful I have ever seen. So many scenes in this movie stick in my mind to this very day and I have not seen the movie since last year. I think the one that stuck the hardest though is the one that is portayed in the picture above. Derek kills two black guys who were part of a group that ruined his truck. The first one dies from a gunshot… quick and easy. The other one however gets a more brutal way to go. He gets his mouth put to the curb and *boom* smashed. This movie is brutal, it is violent but it is also a truly gripping movie about family(ish). I love this movie so much. And the ending is a real shocker in my opinion. For one I did not see it coming and secondly it just came out like *BAM!* and suddenly I was like “Holy shit, what the fuck!?”. But this movie is really fantastic and should be watched.

Number 5: The Matrix (1999)
5. Matrix

Going from an incredibly serious and realistic drama to a kinda serious yet campy and not very realistic action movie. It is the late 90’s action movie that put the Wachowskis on our radar and gave us some amazing action scenes to marvel at. “The Matrix” is about hacker Thomas “Neo” Anderson (Keanu “Woaw” Reeves) who discovers “The Matix” and becomes an ultra badass. I think it is obvious why I love this. It got some of the greatest action ever put to film but at the same time poses some pretty good philosophical questions. I also love seeing Keanu Reeves xo stuff. He could sit and read the menu for a chinese restaurant and it would still be entertaining. But “The Matrix” is overall a great movie.

Number 4: Inception (2010)
4. Inception

Staying on the theme of mindfuck we got the 2010 Best Picture nominee “Inception”. The directing is fantastic, the acting is great, the score by Hans Zimmer is perfect and it got some really good action in there as well. I also love all the dream-related things in this movie with like how they twist and turn the world around them and how all that works… that shit is cool. I also love the directions they take the story in. I think it really works. And to be completely honest I absolutely adore the ending because of how ambiguous it is. It has sparked endless discussion and I absolutely love when that stuff happens. Oh right, story. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio, returning on the list) is a theif who infiltrates people’s dreams. He gets tasked with planting an idea in the head of a rich guy who is about to inherit his father’s company. What idea? Taking the company down. And complex ideas commence in an awesome way. This movie is fantastic, just watch it.

Number 3: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966)
3. The Good The Bad and The Ugly

You knew I would put at least one western on this list. Question was though “Which one would it be?”. It was really no competition about it. The ultimate Clint Eastwood classic about some bounty hunters who are looking for a treasure. HUGE in scope, well-acted, badass and containing one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. And as you guys know, I love me a good western… and this was more than good… this was FANTASTIC! I also love Clint Eastwood, he is THE man. That scene at the graveyard is also one of the best ever created, you know which one I am talking about (if you have seen the movie). I highly recommend watching this movie because it is so badass and awesome.

Number 2: Drive (2011)
2. Drive

“Drive” is one of those movies that is so stylishly directed that it should be a flaw but it only becomes a strength. Story is about a mysterious stunt driver (Ryan Gosling) who doubles as a getaway driver. But he gets involved in some mobster stuff and shit hits the fan. To be honest when I first heard about this movie was through a poster I saw once and thought it would be like “Fast & Furious 92” or “Transporter 4”. So then I saw it and it was a drama with some action in it. People got disappointed at that. I on the other hand loved it so much. I thought it was better than what I expected it to be. The story is great, the acting is tremendous, the music is euphoric and the directing is fantastic. “Drive” is one of those movies that I can watch several times every year and never get bored with it… and it is a slow drama (with a 1 hour 40 minute time frame). I adore this movie so much that I try to push it on people who hasn’t seen it yet. I’ve managed on two people so far and I am working on more.

NUMBER 1: FIGHT CLUB (1999)
1. Fight Club

You should have seen this coming… you really should have seen this coming. I gush over it all the time and have gone as far as to have done TWO reviews of it. Okay, less gushing, more story. A nameless insomniac (Edward Norton, returning on the list) meets a cool and maybe batshit crazy soap maker named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt, returning on the list) and they start a “Fight Club”. And then said Fight Club escalates to so much more than possible. That is really all I can say without giving away too much. But I would be surprised if you have not seen this movie yet. It is one of the most popular movies ever. This movie is weird, twisty-turny, hilarious and awesome. And by hilarious I really mean hilarious, I love the type of dark comedy they have in the movie. The movie is also pitch-perfectly directed… know why? Two words: David (fucking) Fincher. That’s kinda fun. Second Fincher/Pitt team-up on the list… and it features my favorite actor of all time (Edward Norton) as a main character… it was really made for me. To me this movie is perfect, I love this so much that I quote it at least a few times every week… and I watched it six times last year alone. I might have a slight obsession with this movie, but I don’t care because I adore it so much. “Fight Club” is my favorite movie of all time and it will stay that forever.

So those were my Top 10 Movies of all Time. I hope you enjoyed reading that because it was a lot of hard work making it. It was also really fun making it. Here’s to many more good years on here with more fun stuff like this!

So here is my question to you; What is YOUR favorite movie of all time? Comment below, let me know!

I’ll see you later!
