My Favorite Scenes: Batman Begins – I’m Batman

Hello and welcome to this corpse of a series. For anyone new, “My Favorite Scenes” is the series where I take a look at scenes I like from movies and TV shows and share my thoughts on why I like them. Kind of self-explanatory. So let’s get into it!

So today, as you read in the title of the post, we are taking a look at a scene from a movie about the greatest superhero of all… Arm-Fall-Off Boy! I’m of course kidding, we’re actually talking about the god damn Batman. Though I will add that Arm-Fall-Off Boy is a very real superhero, feel free to google it if you don’t believe me.
“Batman Begins”, the 2005 reboot movie directed by Christoher Nolan that was a modest hit at the box office, and spawned two sequels, one of which earned an Oscar win for best supporting actor. Who knew a franchise about a grumpy billionaire dressing up like a crazy bat-person could be so beloved? Jokes aside, I love these movies. And to be quite honest, “Begins” is my favorite in the trilogy. Anyway, what scene are we talking about today? Well, it’s the scene in the movie where Batman (Christian Bale) officially comes to life. Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) is at this place filled with containers, overseeing his henchmen prepare drugs for transportation. Then suddenly, somethign happens. His henchmen start getting picked off, one by one. And finally, this weird entity pulls Falcone out of the car and utters the phrase “I’m Batman”. Yeah, I fucking love this scene. Not only because of the bit where Bale says “I’m Batman”, though that is amazing. This entire scene is actually really tense. The way Batman stalks the goons, taking them all out, it’s all very tense and almost a little scary. Say what you want about Nolan and his philosophical stuff, the dude knows how to build tension. And this scene proves it. From the tense stalking to the badass final “I’m Batman”, this scene is amazing.
Enjoy!

My Top 13 Favorite Superhero Movies

superheroe_3W7UHU3W

Hey guys, once again it is time for a Top 10 (not really). And by Top 10 I mean Top 13 because I felt like I couldn’t exclude some of these. I was thinking “Hmmm, I need to make a new Top 10… but what kind?”. Then I remembered that “Ant-Man” is coming out this year (And for those of you who have al ready gotten it, we here in Sweden don’t get it until wednesday). And that made me think about superheroes. So to commemorate “Ant-Man” coming out, let’s talk about my favorite Superhero movies of all time(ish).

Rule #1: This rule should be a given at this point; this is my list so if you don’t agree with it, you have no right to bitch and moan about it.
Rule #2: Keep in mind that the title says “Superhero Movies”. This means that is can really be anything about a superhero, the movies doesn’t need to be strictly based on comic books. It also means that “Guardians of the Galaxy” won’t be on the list because that is a space/sci-fi movie and not about superheroes.
Rule #3: Only one movie per series. This means that I might only have ONE “Iron Man” movie or only ONE “Captain America” movie. This limits the list a little bit. However, reboots don’t count since they aren’t really part of the same series.
Rule #4: Keep in mind that I haven’t seen every superhero movie ever. So you will not see movies like “The Crow” or “Blade” or “Megamind” on this list.

Now that the rules are out of the way, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you… My Top 13 Favorite Superhero Movies!

Number 13: Superman (1978)
c26afcab1d4bbca37d63099b1fafa6fe

The oldest movie on the list. This is one of the first superhero movies ever made that actually worked, no the 1966 “Batman” and his shark-repellent does not count even though it is fucking hilarious. No, this is the movie that showed that superhero movies could be made and be good. The only reason it isn’t higher is because I have really not seen this movie since I was like 10, but I do remember liking it. So that is why it is on the lowest spot.

Number 12: Watchmen (2009)
J6puYmBPAx4

When this movie came out it got incredibly mixed reception. A lot of people enjoyed it, a lot of people hated it. Me? Well as you may have perceived, I liked it. Do I think it’s perfect? Not at all. For one, it feels a little too long for it’s own good. Second of all, too much blue dick! But despite my problems with the movie, I still enjoyed it a lot for it’s cool action scenes, fantastic soundtrack and Jackie Earle Haley’s performance as Rorshach. He was fantastic in the movie.

Number 11: V For Vendetta (2006)
0

Remember remember the fifth of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder, treason Should ever be forgot. The poem of Guy Fawkes and his attempt to take down the parliament with explosives. And then V (Hugo Weaving) comes in with a Guy Fawkes mask and has a plan similar to Fawkes’. A very thought provoking movie with a lot to say. It is also the last movie that the Wachowski’s had a hand in before they lost their fucking minds (Sidenote: I have not yet seen their show “Sense8” which I have heard is pretty great). But this is an excellent movie featuring a genuinely fantastic performance from Natalie Portman and a poetic/surprising turn from Hugo Weaving.

Number 10: The Incredible Hulk (2008)
hulk-630x350

I hear how people are going “Wait, is this asshole putting that almost forgotten Hulk movie over the poetic beauty of “V For Vendetta”? What the hell?”. And from that I point you towards rule number 1. But yes, I put this above “V For Vendetta”, and that I will explain why. Long time followers will think I did it because I am an Edward Norton fanboy… and you might be right, but that’s not my reasoning. See, where “V For Vendetta” is a thought provoking and poetic masterpiece, I put “The Incredible Hulk” above it because it is just a fun movie. I really like the action scenes in this movie, they are awesome. And like my old followers probably assumed, I love Edward Norton in this movie, he’s great (as always).

Number 9: The Incredibles (2004)
the-incredibles-wallpaper-photo-2560x1600

Second movie with the word “Incredible” in the title and the first one to not be based on any comic book. That’s right, at number 9 we have the Pixar animated movie “The Incredibles”, directed by Brad Bird who also made “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” which was a good action movie. This movie is fun, it has interesting characters, the animation is terrific and it is perfect for the entire family(ish). What’s not to like?

Number 8: Batman Begins (2005)
Caer-para-aprender-a-levantarse-Batman-Begins3-640x360

I swear, someone will break rule number 1 because of this spot. You know… since people seem to love “The Dark Knight” so much over this movie. But if you remember when I did my “Top 10 Batman Movies” list, I ranked this above “The Dark Knight”. And that is why this movie is on this list. It has a great plot, great direction by Christopher Nolan, great performances (except for Katie Holmes), and it broguht Batman back from the dead after that failure that is “Batman & Robin”. Let me just tell you my biggest issue with all of Chris Nolan’s Batman movies; Batman’s voice, it just sounds silly. Okay, moving on.

Number 7: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
avengersultronclip

That’s right, I like “Age of Ultron” more than the original “Avengers”. Wazzup, motherfuckers! Just kidding, I love you. But if you wanna bitch, go to someone else’s blog because this one is protected by the first rule. But yeah, this is a sequel that I actually enjoyed more than the original. To me, this was more fun and had a much faster pace than the first movie. And Ultron was an amazing villain, mostly thanks to the excellent script and the charismatic performance by James Spader.

Number 6: Iron Man (2008)
ironman_poster3

What? I said “Only one movie per series”. Not “One movie per cinematic universe”. So “Iron Man” goes on this list. Mostly for being cool, innovative, fun, great and for starting the MCU. Also, AC/DC music.

Number 5: Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (2008)
ahsQCqy

While based on a series of comic books, this is the only movie on the list not coming from either DC or Marvel. But we don’t need those two corporate giants to make a good superhero movie, because “Hellboy 2” is fucking awesome! Directed by Guillermo Del Toro who is an amazing visual director, this movie stars Ron Perlman in his second outing as the titular character, trying to save the world. And I got a message for you Hollywood… PLEASE GIVE US A HELLBOY 3!!!

Number 4: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
7-most-expensiveinfo.com_9

A sequel that is so much better than the original that it is absolutely crazy! This movie took everything that was good about the first “Captain America”, and improved on it. Only downer is that there is no Hugo Weaving. But everything else in this movie is amazing. It also never breaks pace, this is an intense, action-packed movie with a pretty good spy-thriller twist on it. Also, this movie has ROBERT REDFORD! MARVEL GOT ROBERT FUCKING REDFORD ON! HALLELUJAH!

Number 3: X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
X-Men

I guess 2014 was a good year for comic book movies. “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past”. This movie marked the return to the franchise of director Bryan Singer who hadn’t made a great movie since 2003 when “X2” came out. But when he made this, holy shit he made something fantastic. “Days of Future Past” had the action you wanted, the drama you needed and the humor to keep the movie fun. While I love “X2”, this might actually be my favorite “X-Men” movie of all time. Also, that scene with Quicksilver… amazing.

Number 2: Batman (1989)
B6d2p8OCUAEcV2m

Remember what I said about reboots not counting as being in the same series as earlier movies? Yeah, that is why I could put this movie so far up here. And if you go back and check my “Top 10 Batman Movies” list, you’ll notice that this is my favorite Batman of all time. And that is because this, to me, is a perfect movie. I love absolutely everything about this movie. Sure, the music by Prince is a little distracting, but it doesn’t ruin the movie for me. I still love this movie A LOT. It’s fun, it’s dark, it has Jack Nicholson, it is motherfuckin’ “Batman”!

Number 1: The Matrix (1999)
matrix

This might to some people be my strangest pick for this list. I mean, since all other movies relate back to superheroes in a more direct way. This doesn’t really touch on it that much, but ultimately made it to the list. I was actually debating with myself about putting this movie on the list or not for a while, then I watched Watchmojo’s video “Top 10 Superhero Movies Not based on Comic Books”. That is what ultimately made me put the movie on the list. This is a superhero movie at heart, even though it doesn’t clearly show at first. But to me it is still a superhero movie and my faovrite superhero movie of all time.

So what are your thoughts? What is your favorite superhero movie? Leave a comment and let me know.

Have a good one!

My Top 10 Batman Movies

because_i_m_batman____by_superherocomputerart-d5kbtdg

Remember the other week where I had a poll on what my (at that time) next Top 10 would be? Well if you remember that then surely you remember how I said there was a tie between the winner of that one and another one so I had to toss a coin. Well after the other one won the coin toss it gave me the brilliant idea that I the Top 10 I would make after that one would be the one that tied. So here we are, presenting the new Top 10.

Ladies and gentlemen… My Top 10 Batman Movies.

Rule #1: Same as always, this is my list, so no butthurt bitching allowed.

Rule #2: Any Batman movies is elligible to be on this list… as long as I enjoyed it. And I will include several movies from the same incarnations of the character because I don’t feel like looking up 10 completely different ones to use. I may be good at research, but I am also lazy.

Rule #3: I’M BATMAN!

I will however start with an honorable mention and that will be “Batman: The Movie” starring Adam West. The reason it even is an honorable mention is because it is so hilariously bad that I couldn’t ignore it. Also, shark repellent spray… gotta love that shit.

Number 10: Batman: Gotham Knight (2008).
h9xrTEaXvogkiUaGm9C1f5I69E0

“Batman: Gotham Knight” is an animated movies absed around six different short films by different anime studious to sort of bridge the gap between “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”. Sound pretty cool right? Well it kind of is but at the same time it isn’t THAT terrific because of all these short films feeling very loosely connected and with them not feeling 100% Batman-ish if that even means anything. But it is still cool to see Batman in all these different art styles that all look great in their own ways.

Number 9: Batman Returns (1992).
batman_returns_wallpaper-1024x768

Here we have the sequel to 1989’s “Batman”, once again directed by Tim Burton. Michael Keaton is back as Batman and this time he is not fighting The Joker but instead we get Catwoman and The Penguin. Defnitely darker than the first movie, it is still a good movie. Also, Christopher Walken is in this, so that’s pretty cool

Number 8: Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014).
Assault on Arkham

So this is a Batman movie, well technically not, but still. Even though this has Batman in the title and he is in the movie, we for the most part follow The Suicide Squad (Deadshot, Killer Frost, Harley Quinn, Black Spider, King Shark and *sigh* Captain Boomerang). It is a movie with good animation, really cool action and it follows the video game “Batman: Arkham Origins”… sort of.

Number 7: The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
1366_768_20120608012543630174

Oh boy, controversial placement. Look, I love this movie, i think it is fucking great. But there are otehr Batman movies I like more. So deal with it! But this is still a terrific entry in not only the Christopher Nolan Batman series, but even in the Batman movie-verse(s) in general.

Number 6: Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000).
batman-batman-superheroes-joker-wallpaper-return-beyond-image-wallpapers-cartoon-wallpaper-42511

“Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker” is a tie-in to the animated series “Batman Beyond” which I also really like. In this movie we follow Terry McGinnis who in this timeline is Batman as he finds out that the original Joker has returned and holy shit this movie is both weird and awesome. Dark, twisted and badass, it is definitely worth the watch, especially if you like the show.

Number 5: The Dark Knight (2008).
the-dark-knight-wallpaper-5

Oh dear lord, not putting everybody’s favorite Batman movie at number 1, that is highly controversial. Well I don’t care, this is my list and I can do whatever I want! Besides, it is still ranked pretty high on the list. I love this movie, it is terrific. I do however think it might be one of the most overrated movies ever made. Sure, the story is great, the acting is fantastic, the music is fantastic and the direction/camera work is amazing, but it is still probably a little overrated. I mean, when it is ranked #4 on imdb’s “Top 250” list it is definitely overstepping it. I do however still love the movie.

Number 4: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993).
Batman-Mask-of-the-Phantasm-FI

Fun fact: This was in fact the first Batman movie I ever saw. I think I was like 6 and I remember sitting there and watching it, being scared. I guess the visuals were too much for me back then or something. Going back to it a few years later however made me simply think that the movie was fantastic. Terrific animation, fantastic voice acting and music and one of the greatest Batman storylines ever told in anything ever makes this one of the best Batman movies ever.

Number 3: Batman Begins (2005).
the_dark_knight_rises-wallpaper-1366x768

The movie that introduced us to Christian Bale as The Caped Crusader. The movie that introduced us to Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon. The movie that introduced us to Michael Caine as old butler with funny lines (I know he’s Alfred, shut up). And the movie that showed that Christopher Nolan could helm a superhero film. Sure, there were no doubts really before because he hadn’t made anything that disproved it, but still we didn’t know what to expect. And it was fantatic. As you noticed, this is my favorite of Nolan’s Batman movies. I absolutely loved it in every way. I’m a little iffy about Katie Holmes in the movie, but she doesn’t completely ruin it for me.

Number 2: Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010).
batman_under_the_red_hood-wallpaper-1366x768

The 2010 animated Batman movie that I happened to catch on TV one day a few years ago and just blew me away. From it’s story, to it’s developed characters, excellent writing and terrific animation. It also has a lot of great meotion in it. And the voice cast is fantastic too. Bruce Greenwood kills it as Batman which is probably why he got to reprise his role in the animated series “Young Justice”. I love everything about this movie and I hope a lot more people check it out.

NUMBER 1: BATMAN (1989)!
Batman-Logo

If you looked at every entry on this list prior to this spot you probably noticed how this was absent from all other spots and that because it is my favorite Batman movie. I don’t know why I love it more than “Batman Begins” or “Under the Red Hood”. I guess it is because while it still is a dark and serious movie it still has a sense of fun behind it. And the actors in the movie are all great. Everyone had serious doubts about Michael Keaton as Batman but he managed to prove everyone wrong. And Jack Nicholson is fantastic as The Joker. I don’t care much for the music by Prince that we got in the movie, but everything else is just pure perfection for me. And therefore I declare this my favorite Batman movie of all time!

List is done! So what is your favorite Batman movie of all time? Leave a comment!

Have a good one!

My Top 13 Action Movies

Wut wut

Hello, hello, hello! Nice to have you here, my friends! Let’s start by saying thank you to you guys who have been sticking around for my weird shenanigans for a longer period. Not mentioning any specific names because… well, I don’t remember who have been with me since early on. And you who arrived here recently I thank as well because you decided to start following me, it warms my heart. Now that we got all that fluffy shit out of the way, let’s talk about macho stuff! Action movies! They are awesome and provide a lot of entertainment (mostly) and are really fun to just watch since they rarely make you feel bad or make you think too much. And today we are here to talk about my 13 favorite action movies. Now before we begin we have to establish some rules.

#1: This is my list, so don’t start bitching when a movie you like isn’t on the list or if a movie you dislike is on the list. My opinion and ego is the center of attention here.

#2: As much as I would love to put movies like “Guardians of the Galaxy” or “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” on this list I am not going to. This is a list that is made up of movies mainly focusing on action, so sci-fi is not fit for it. I can say now though that a few movies with sci-fi elements in them will appear but they don’t rely on it overly much. Westerns are (unfortunately) out of the game to. And while you would expect me to put “Drive” on this list, I can’t. I see “Drive” more as a drama/thriller with action bits in it.

#3: This list will not look the same in the future, I am sure of that much. There will be more action movies added to it (not editing this post for that). So while this list isn’t forever definitive, it is like this as of when it was made.

And finally I want to mention any good action movies I didn’t, feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear your thoughts.
So let’s stop standing on the same spot, let’s go… My Top 13 action movies!

Number 13: Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows (2011)
sherlock_holmes_a_game_of_shadows_by_outlawninja-d4j5afa

Kicking off the list the sequel to the pretty successful movie “Sherlock Holmes” starring Robert Downey Jr. This is one occasion where I think the sequel is more enjoyable than the first. I seem to be the only one thinking that though. Trust me, I really like the first one too, but I think I prefer this on an entertainment level and as an action movie. Plus, this movie has more of James Moriarty (Jared Harris) than the first movie. And I like that. Now this is as low on the list because, well I think the other movies are better action movies (and movies in general) than this. But I do like this movie a good amount.

Number 12: Batman Begins (2005)
batman-begins-the-end-of-the-evil,1366x768,57231

I’ve always loved that picture of Batman, it looks so cool! Oh crap, right… action movies! Putting a Batman movie in the list is a bit of a no-brainer. But which one? Most people would probably choose “The Dark Knight” and I can respect that. But my pick is my favorite of the Nolan Batman movies, “Batman Begins”. And while I think the title is a little funny “Batman Begins”, a sequel should have been called “Batman Continues” and then “Batman Quits”… hehe. Sorry, getting off track. But despite the somewhat silly title I love this movie. Sure, I love the entire trilogy but this is my favorite of them all. The action is nothing short of great and it helps that this movie knows how to tell a great story as well based on everybody’s favorite flying rodent. Plus, Christian Bale is perfect in this movie as Batman. To be honest, everyone in the movie does a great job with their performances. But I love this movie and think it is a great action movie.

Number 11: Die Hard (1988)
original

Yippee ki-yay motherfucker, it’s “Die Hard”. The movie that solidified Bruce Willis as not only an actor, but also an action star. And man is it a good one! And some of you might be thinking “Die Hard so low!? Fuck you man!”. And then I will have to refer you to rule #1: No bitching. Second of all, I really love “Die Hard”. It is a great action movie. Plus, be glad it is on my list in general! It is here for a reason and that is that I think it is a great action movie… and it’s set during christmas. So it’s a great action and christmas movie!

Number 10: Sin City (2005)
446530

This movie is pretty violent. But the violence in this movie is one of the things that makes it so unique. Another one is the badass color palette. I am aware “Schindler’s List” used a similar style, but “Sin City” did it in a way that gives it an edge. This movie is big, bold and badass, which happens to be something a critic said about 2014’s “The Guest”. But this was big, bold and badass before that so… “Sin City”! The action in this movie is brutal and awesome. And like I said before, the color palette makes it so much cooler. This movie is awesome.

Number 9: Cowboy Bebop: The movie (2001)
ozccowboybebopthemovieku

In my rules, I said that extreme science fiction and westerns were ruled out… I never said anything about animation. Sure, this has sci-fi and it has a bit of western in it’s title, but it is more of an action movie than anything. I am a huge fan of the “Cowboy Bebop” television show. I would go as far to say that it is my second favorite anime show of all time. But back to the movie! It got (like the show) excellent animation by Studio Sunrise, a kickass soundtrack and the best dub in animation history. Steve Blum IS Spike Spiegel! The action is also really kickass, like the show. I love this movie so much and thought it was a good tie-in to the show. It isn’t a sequel, it is set during the show…ish. But I do still recommend that you watch the show first to get to know the characters and then come back and watch this movie because it is so awesome!

Number 8: Casino Royale (2006)
casino_royale-HD

Yeah, a James Bond movie made it to the list. And damn is it a good one! Not only did it eliminate my doubts about Daniel Craig being Bond, but it was also a lot better in general than I thought it would be. It had a great plot, a fucking awesome opening theme (Chris Cornell – You know my Name), great performances and some really great and intense action sequences. Not only is this number 8 on my list over favorite action movies, but it is also my favorite James Bond movie. “Casino Royale” is a great movie that is perfect in being both a great friday night action movie and a really good character-driven drama.

Number 7: Heat (1995)
hdwallpaperpc_com_Heat_Al_Pacino_Robert_De_Niro_Val_Kilmer_1920x1080

Going a little bit old school again with this 1995 action/drama/crime/thriller from director Michael Mann (who later this month comes out with “Blackhat”). This movie is pretty great, and not only because it is on my list. It manages to be more than a simple heist-action movie. It is a heavily character-driven and really well told story. But how does it do in the action department? It is pretty great actually! And the acting in the movie is pretty great too. But that should have been obvious considering the three main stars are Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Val Kilmer… and Jon Voight… Tom Sizemore… getting off track. But when action happens in this movie it is glorious. It is intense, it is badass and it is grand! It takes up a lot of space in the awesomeness room. “Heat” is one of those movies that may be very long, but it is still so worth seeing!

Number 6: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).
The-Winter-Soldier-Wallpaper-55

Like with “Cowboy Bebop” this movie may have sci-fi elements in it, but it is mainly an action movie mixed with some spy-espionage-thriller elements. And for that I have to salute Marvel for making a really awesome movie. A great twisty-turny story, great performances, great music reminiscent of “Metal Gear Solid” and some of the greatest action in a movie in recent years. I loved seeing this and I will definitely watch it again some time. It is a great action movie!

Number 5: Taken (2008)
taken_1366x768_73867

Don’t piss off Liam Neeson, he will kill you with his pinky finger. “Taken” was one of those movies that really surprised me in how great it was. Did I expect it to be this great? No. Did I expect to hate it? Not really. Did I like it? It should be obvious since it is on the list. Sure, some of the action was hidden behind shaky-cam, but a lot of the action was still really great. I also really liked the plot of a man who is like the deadliest father ever go and look for his kidnapped daughter halfway across the world… and also kick a lot of ass during his little “visit” there. I also love Liam Neeson, the guy is a great actor. This movie also gave us something we never knew we wanted that would become what we love now… Liam Neeson doing action things. Yeah, this movie was awesome.

Number 4: Dirty Harry (1971)
maxresdefault

From one badass of an older age to another, it is the original badass himself… Clint Eastwood! This has to be one of his most iconic roles/movies, everybody knows about “Dirty” Harry Callahan. He is one of those badasses you don’t want pursuing you because he will growl you to death… if doesn’t kill you with his .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world that can blow your head clean off, so you gotta ask yourself “Do I feel lucky?” Well do ya, PUNK!?

Number 3: Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Terminator-2

How could I not? This is the definite sequel! This is the one example I can give when someone asks “Is there a sequel to a movie that is better than the original?” and then I go “Terminator 2”. That is how it always goes and will always go. This is what a sequel should be; improve on the original. And don’t get me wrong, I really like the original “Terminator”, but this movie basically grabs it by the collar and throws it out the window. Hell, even the theme song (which is the same as the original) is better. And the visual effects are so much better! Both the practical ones and the CGI ones. I adore this movie so much.

Number 2: The Matrix (1999)
the-matrix-4-time-flies-the-matrix-is-15-years-old

Oh come on, you expected this movie to be on the list somewhere! It got some of the best action scenes ever put in any movie ever! It’s also the movie that really gave us Hugo Weaving who plays one of the best villains in movie history. I would also say it is Keanu Reeves’ best performance (Sidenote: Take to mind that I have not seen “John Wick” yet which a fair amount of people seem to say has the best Keanu performance ever). Still, think what he would be like if he put a little of that one scene I have seen from “Point Break” in this movie. “I, AM, A, COMPUTER, HACKER!” That would have been pretty hilarious. But still, “The Matrix” is a great action movie and one of my personal movies of all time.

Number 1: Inception (2010)

Yes this is technically an action movie. But a very ambitious and brain-driven movie. And even if you don’t like overly complex stuff, you still get a really good amount of action the movie to be entertained for about two hours. It also got some amazing visual effects, great performances, great music and one of the coolest concepts ever. I love this movie so much in terms of the whole action movie thing and as a movie in general. I am going to say it, “Inception” is one of my favorite movies of all time.

As you may have noticed this list isn’t really ranked based on how much action or explosions there are, but more on my opinion of the movie itself and it of course being an action movie. So like I said before, are there some great action movies I didn’t mention? Feel free to leave a comment. Thanks for sticking around both on the blog and this long post, you rock!

See ya!
